Zenimax Media Takes A Tough Loss

In this billion-dollar gaming industry, it isn't every day that a powerhouse company paves the way and structure of the industry in such a profound way. Unless your Zenimax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks and id Software. Founded in 1999 by CEO Robert A Altman, this company is responsible for classic titles such as The Elder Scrolls Series, The Doom Series, Dishonored 2, etc.

Sadly Altman passed away on 2/4/2021, due to ongoing health complications. He was survived by a wife and 2 children. Condolences for all his family, and a moment of silence for how much he changed the gaming industry.
